We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Installer/Technician/Labourer to join our team specializing in basement and crawlspace maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. This role involves working on residential properties to install waterproofing systems, vapour barriers, and encapsulation solutions to prevent moisture intrusion and protect the structural integrity of basements and crawlspaces. 

Responsibilities

  • Install interior and exterior waterproofing systems, including sump pumps, drainage systems, French drains, waterproof coatings and window wells.
  • Help with excavation and grading to ensure water flows away from the foundation.
  • Install vapour barriers, wall liners, and other moisture control systems to prevent water infiltration.
  • Install insulation, dehumidifiers, and other energy-efficient solutions to create a healthy, conditioned crawlspace environment.
  • Assist with the preparation of materials, tools, and setting up of equipments.
  • Work in confined spaces, including basements and crawlspaces, ensuring the job site is left clean and orderly.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in construction, waterproofing, crawlspace encapsulation or a related field is preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with operating hand tools, power tools and heavy equipment.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs) and work in confined spaces
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
